Day 01  Cochin – Munnar 124 kms / 4 hrs

You arrive at Cochin Airport, to be whisked away to The Brunton Boatyard Hotel is a looking-glass held up to this era. It's our attempt to capture the soul of a colorful and romantic age that remains one of history's most charming conjuring tricks, nurtured by Kerala's tolerant spirit

Kochi is the only place in the country where you can see Portuguese Churches, a Jewish Synagogue, Hindu Temples, and Dutch Architecture& Mosque nearly side by Side. Today visit to old spice market at Mattancherry, the atique shops on Jew’s street, The Synagogue, The Dutch palace and of course St. Francis Church . This evening a memorable experience in any journey in Kerala is a Boat Trip along the Palm Fringed Lakes & Backwaters of the Area, as we sail along the shady canals we see cantilevered Chinese fishing nets. Day 02 Cochin – Munnar 130 kms/3 hrs

Morning drive to Munnar en route visit to a family for breakfast of planters in their bungalow nestled in the middle of 40 hectares of plantations. Arrival at Munnar, located at 1600m altitude, favorite resort resort of the British due to its summer coolness and the beauty of its tea plantations, waterfalls and green hills. Walk in the local market. Munnar – is situated at the confluence of three mountains streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni & Kundala. Upon arrival check in hotel, Overnight stay

Day 03 Munnar

After breakfast visit to Mattupetty – 13 kms away from Munnar, situated at a height of 1700m. It is famous for its highly specialized Dairy Farm – the indo Swiss livestock project. Over a hundred varities of high yielding cattles are reared here. Visitor is allowed to 3 of the 11 cattle shades at the farm. TheMattupetty Lake& dam just a short distance from the farm, is a very beautiful picnic spot. Visit to sprawling Kundala tea plantationsand tea museum and the rose garden. Walk through the heart of the spice and tea plantations, where the view of the surrounding mountains is breathtakingand the Kundala Lakeare the other attraction in the vicinity. Overnight stay.

Day 04 Munnar- Suryanelli / Kolukkumalai 30 kms / 1 hr

After breakfast drive to small town Suryanelly located 24 km from Munnar and located at 1700 meters above sea level. Begin your trekking in the wilderness of Kerala. Walk 10 km to viewpoints located at 2160 meters above sea level. During your journey, visit one of the oldest tea factories in the area, founded in 1935, which perpetuates the traditional methods of production and offers high quality organic teas. After a tasting break, resume your journey to the camp where you spend the night. Enjoy the dinner around a campfire. Overnight stay in Camp

During your trek you have the services of a seasoned guide to treks in this region (English speaking), porters, a follow-up jeep in case of worry, cooks to concoct tasty and hot dishes for the breakfasts and dinners. Lunches are provided in picnic. The tent (detached camp) is alpine-style , with a small mattress on the floor, a tent is available to make a simple toilet with warm water seals (provided morning and evening). Day 05 Kolukkumalai- Kurangani 52 kms / 2 hrs

Located on a slope to the East of the Ghats, the camp is set up on an ideal site to enjoy the magnificent sunrises. You resume your walk throughtea plantations and Shola forest. Further on are verdant valleys and sumptuous panoramas combining Western Ghats and the Tamil Nadu plains (about 10km). Before you settle down at your camp, located near a typical Tamil village, you cross a few cotton plantations. Remainder of time is free time to discover the surroundings; you are 600 meters above sea level. Overnight stay in Camp

Day 06 Kurangani- Periyar 98 kms / 2 hrs

After breakfast, walk 3 km around the village. Transfer by car to Thekkady. En route visit the Carmelia Haven for lunchupon arrival check in hotel. Thekkady (Periyar). Traditional martial arts show of Kerala, the Kalarippayattu. In the evening, discover the natural park by joining the ranger during its night round. This program, called "Jungle Scout", is organized under the responsibility and control of the Forestry Department of Kerala. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 Periyar

Morning enjoy Safari Cruise with best trained guide in Periyar Game Sanctuary – the best way to see & enjoy the Wildlife Activities, Cruise in the Periyar Lake in the cool surroundings and the panorama spreads around tropical jungles, Wild elephants & birds of myriad varieties. With an area of 777 sq kms in the hills of Western Ghats amongst the animals are wild elephants which can be seen and photographed at close quarters, Wild boar, Sambar, Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog and langur monkey.

Afternoon begin your activities with a hike of about 2 hours through the richest forests of the park, followed by 3 hours of rafting on bamboo boats . Lunch is payable locally. 2 hours walk through the tea plantations, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 Periyar – Alapuzzha 127 kms / 3h 40m

After breakfast drive to Alleppey to meet your way own floating hotel. Cruise the backwaters & explore the rural life in & around Alleppey.

Kettuvalam (An Authentic Kerala Houseboat) - the moving master piece, have been plying the inland waterways of southwest India for untold centuries and originally used as cargo rice boats. The fully furnished and palm covered boats (single & double) bedrooms with attached bath, sit out, kitchen and living room made of traditional wood. In each houseboat, there are 3 men staff (crew), comprising a cook and two well trained punters throughout the cruise. Punters stand on each end of the boat for punting and directing the boat. Traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian Kerala cuisines are served. A journey through the backwaters of Kerala which offer one of the world’s truly unforgettable experiences, myriad network of silent lagoons, freshwater river, and hyacinth covered canals that wind their way through colorful corridors of forests, palms and fruit trees. A canoe expedition via an intricate network of canals, through backwater villages where daily continues unaltered, as it has for centuries. You will see lush palm groves and stretches of rice fields. Day 09 Alleppey – Mararikulam 15 kms / 30 mins

Breakfast on cruise drive to Rani John's house to discover the project destined to the preservation of the historical heritage of Alleppey, Presentation of the city and its architecture in a traditional house. Walk through the spice market, then along the open channel of a mosque, a Jain temple and an Anglican church, testimony to the great openness and tolerance of Kerala towards religions. Visit to a cooperative in a former British factory where traditional methods of weaving coirfiber are still being applied. Return to the traditional residence for an on-site lunch. Transfer to Mararikulam, and set up at your beachfront resort and close to fishing villages.

Day 10 Mararikulam

Today is free day to enjoy the pleasures of the beach and the ocean. Swimming pool, bicycle rental and Ayurvedic care center are at your disposal.

Day 11 Mararikulam – kochi 40 kms / 1h 15m

Say good bye to this fascinating kerala tour departure transfer to Cochin and return to onward destination.
