Cochin - Thekkady - Cochin

Day 1 Cochin
Arrive at Cochin airport - meet & greet by presentable representative of Recreation Travels with special welcome.

Cochin - Capital oasis state of Kerala & on to the Malabar Coats & Kochi, one of the India's most colorful cities. Kochi is the only place in the country where you can see Portuguese Churches, a Jewish Synagogue, Hindu Temples, and Dutch Architecture & Mosque nearly side by side by side by side. Later we attend the performance of the Kathkali, one of India's most famous Classical dances. Overnight stay.

Day 2 Cochin - Thekkady (192 kms)
We leave Cochin & drive to a tranquil hill retreat, the Spice Village. Along the way we pass through Tea, Cinnamon, Clove & Cardamom Plantations - Beautiful to see & smell! This evening we visit the nearby Periyar Game Sanctuary; game-viewing hare is like no other Safari Experience. We simply relax in a motor Launch & sail along as herds of Elephant & bison come into view. During the dry season Tigers & Panthers come down to Lakeshore for drink - be sure plenty of films on hands!

Day 3 Thekkady (Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary)
Early this morning we enjoy Safari Cruise in Periyar Game Sanctuary. After lunch we enjoy another Safari Cruise in Periyar Game Sanctuary. Remainder of the time is free to spend as you like or walk with the Naturalist to see the Natural Environment of Jungle. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 4 Thekkady - Cochin (192 kms)
After breakfast, drive to Cochin to connect the flight for onwards destination.
